It has small openings for snout and some vintilation holes on sides and rest of this muzzle is closed - just few additional open holes to allow some more airflow during training. Leather padded dog muzzle for Mastiff made of 100% leather, padded on nose with thick natural felt for maximum comfort and to prevent rubbing, design provides your dog with good ventilation level but only suggested for wearing for limited period of time - probably up to 30 minutes. This leather muzzle will prevent your dog from wound licking, rocks eating, garbage eating, poison, etc. This muzzle prevents injuries from dog fights. Due to policy of some transportation companies your dog will be allowed for transportation if properly muzzled however for transportation we suggest to consider different muzzle, with better ventilation level - wire basket muzzle m4light which provides your dog with more airflow. Muzzle made with 2 adjustable straps - strap which goes between the eyes and strap which goes around the dogs neck behind ears. Between eyes strap very often plays major role in preventing removal of the muzzle by dog’s paw, however it is possible to remove it if necessary
